sventon 1.0 RC3
RC3 is now
available. Feedback from users tracked down issues related to using sventon in a non Latin 1 world. RC 3 brings a number of bugfixes to correct these problems, and sventon should now do at least a half-decent job working in an UTF-8 environment. An upgrade of JavaSVN to version 1.0.4 also comes with RC 3.
Many thanks to Evan Wang for helping us test sventon in a Chinese environment, and also providing a fix for issue 7136.

sventon 1.0 RC2
sventon 1.0 RC2 is now available for
download.
This is the second 1.0 release candidate and contains bug fixes and a few new features, including:
- Possibility to diff entries in browser and search result view
- Possibility to disable index
- JHighlight upgrade
- Raw file view.
For full changes, see
changes.txt.
Please note that this release requires the repository index to be rebuilt. Index rebuild is an automatic process, but will disable search and flatten directory features until indexing has completed. If upgrading from an old sventon installation, the old index file must be removed during installation. See the
release notes for further information and instructions on upgrading from a previous sventon version.
There will be no more features added to the 1.0 branch. We aim at releasing 1.0 final during May. Please report bugs to the
forum or
dev mailing list.
If you are missing any particular feature, send us your ideas; there is life after 1.0…
